- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Called Dublin Borough police for help with a civil issue. Nobody was on duty, so the dispatcher transferred me to state police. A very arrogant, disrespectful officer Lynch answered, immediately interrupted me after I proceeded to let him know what I needed help with, and then told me, "Ugh, we're busy here". Really?! Your job is to protect and serve. A more helpful, professional response would be to first make sure I'm not in danger, second, provide other resources for me. Imagine if we all talked to our customers and clients the way officer Lynch spoke to me! Many of us would be without a job. I do nothing but defend cops since they are so often bashed this day and age, but after this encounter, I'm thinking twice about the level at which I defend themBy Caryn Cassidy, November 06, 2016
